I was quite nervous about speaking norwegian but it was really nice and natural to chat with Armin. Thanks for the encouragement and all the tips you gave me.

Had my first lesson at italki with Armin. He was very encouraging and gave examples.

Armin jumped right into asking questions so that I can practice! He provided valuable feedback of my mistakes, and things to improve. It was very nice session :)

Jeg likte veldig godt min første samtaletime med Armin. Han er en dyktig lærer som har en fantastisk evne til å oppmuntre studentene til å snakke mer og forklare seg tydelig. Han er tålmodig og skaper et trygt og positivt læringsmiljø. Jeg føler meg motivert til å delta mer aktivt, og jeg gleder meg til å ha flere timer med ham.

My brain hurts lol, but that's a good thing. We jumped right into speaking and didn't stop for the full hour. It really made me work to find my words but showed me that I could converse much more than I thought I could. A much different session than I am used to but was very productive.

It was a good experience. Armin asks questions just in time to encourage me to say more, and he corrects mistakes whenever necessary, and seamlessly communicates the right spelling in the chat. It was very encouraging and I talked a lot :-)
