Welcome! My name is Motsidiso, my students call me "Teacher Mo". I am a young lady from the warm city of Durban, South Africa. I am well spoken with a very bubbly personality plus I am passionate about helping others and having them learn from me. My interests are in art, going out to new restaurants, going to museums and traveling. I love creating new experiences and memories with my family and friends.
I am a Certified tutor with a level 5 TEFL Diploma and 3 Years of online teaching experience. I assist students with Conversational Skills, General English and Business English. I have had the experience of working with diverse students from children to adults.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
When learning in the classroom, I value creating a stress-free environment with my students. It is always a positive experience for students. To have a space to enjoy learning and still have fun. Lessons are customized and structured to the students needs. I have had success in tutoring young kids, teenagers and adults.
Learning is a journey, I understand that it does need a lot of patience and practice. With good listening skills this allows me to clearly understand what a student needs. With dedication and success. I value communicating effectively, having respect for each other and being honest. My teaching style is fun, conversational and hands on. I enjoy having an interactive and collaborative classroom. I find that it is where students get the opportunity to take part in their own learning journey. This allows me use lots of ways to help students learn. This includes activities like talking about real-life topics. Sharing opinions in discussions and doing activities to improve speaking abilities. I get to use quality materials that help in the development of English skills!
This style helps the student to stay engaged. Gain knowledge in ways that they can use outside of the classroom.

GA Level 5 Diploma in TEFL - i-to-i - 2020With my Level 5 Certificate in TEFL, I have gone through modules that allow me to teach Business English, allows me to teach English Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation, teaching the Four Skills in English, lesson planning and using resources, one-on-one and online lessons, as well as teaching English to kids and adults.

My qualification also allows me to teach Business English to working professionals who are looking to improve their English Skills in the workplace.

ESL TutorThis is a work from home position where I work as an online freelance tutor working with both adults and young kids. I help to curate and customize lessons according to the students needs and get to help work on their skills in the English language focusing on Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading. This also includes consistent monitoring and feedback to help students improve.

Call Centre AgentAs a Call Centre Agent I had to engage and help customers with queries that they had and that experience will help me on iTalki when I am engaging with students. I have the confidence, capability and etiquette of talking to new students and being able to help them with their needs in learning English. I have also done coaching sessions, where I coached and up-skilled agents and that will contribute greatly to my experience as a teacher.
2019 - 2022
Au-pairI was an au-pair during Covid and with the children I was taking care of, I had to tutor them as we were all home and they were attending school remotely. With my second host family I also assisted one of my host kids in preparing her for pre-school, I would tutor her in the mornings and she was prepared for school plus she did very well. These skills will attribute and help in knowing that I am able to work with kids as much as I am also able to work with adults.
