Hi, my name is Maya. I am interested in art, music, and fitness. I grew up in China, studied in Europe and the U.S.. Now I'm living in Shenzhen, a city next to Hong Kong. I have been working with Maya for 6 months. She is great, as she emphasizes using the material we are learning in organic conversation. She thinks a lot about different resources and approaches outside of the text, and finds ways to help you lean vocab that is most applicable to you. Would highly recommend!

Maya is fantastic. She makes you feel really comfortable and encourages you throughout the whole process. She came prepared with slides and also gave me additional practice to help me through the week. We went through a lot in a little amount of time; I'm excited to work with her again.

Highly recommend using Maya. As a beginner she has made me feel extremely supported and understood. She's very easy to connect with and is very patient. She speaks very clearly in Mandarin and English so you don't have to worry if you are a beginner because she can explain the what's and why's in English.
