I am a Singaporean Chinese who speaks English and Mandarin Chinese as my native languages. I speak with a standard accent and accurate pronunciation, and possess strong Chinese writing skills, having written academic essays in Chinese. Since I grew up bilingual, rest-assured that if you do not yet know how to speak Mandarin Chinese, communication will not be a problem, though I always try to immerse students in as much Mandarin as possible. 我是一名新加坡华人，会说流利的中文和英语，也有丰富的写作经验。我的专业是法学，也修读过中国历史、政治、经济的相关课程。我不仅可以帮助您学习语言，还可以让您了解中国的社会与文化习俗。

Öğretmen Olarak Ben

Treat me as a friend who can help you with conversation practice and understanding Chinese culture. You can ask me anything and am open to any topics! The advantages of learning from a non-mainland Chinese person like me are aplenty: 1. I grew up bilingual. I use both English and Mandarin Chinese in informal and formal settings on a daily basis. 2. I am able to offer you a perspective of China and Chinese language that is different from mainland Chinese teachers. I can even teach you subtle differences in vocabulary used in Mainland China, Taiwan and Singapore.

Here's what I offer: 1. Conversation classes - For beginner to intermediate learners who wish to improve their speaking skills. I provide structured or unstructured conversations, depending on your needs. You can come to me with questions or specific topics to discuss. 2. Beginner classes - I will teach Hanyu Pinyin first, which is important in learning how to pronounce words, then introduce you to basic Chinese expressions and grammar. Notes will be provided. 3. Written translation work - I provide translation service for essays from English to Chinese and/or Chinese to English. Message me for details. Note: Cancellation/rescheduling only available at least 24 hours before class.
