Hello everyone! My name is Maja and I'm a professional Croatian teacher. My native language is Croatian, and I'm also fluent in English, but since I currently reside in Luxembourg, a small country with three (!) official languages, I also speak some French and German. Currently, I'm also perfecting my knowledge of Slovenian and I'm enjoying the challenge!
Besides my job, I enjoy reading, watching movies and documentaries, traveling and listening to other people's fascinating stories.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
Every student is different and I prepare every lesson individually based on your needs, learning style and desired goals. As a consequence, no class is the same, but I want them all to have one thing in common - I like it when my classes are relaxed and fun as that's the best way to learn a language, or anything else for that matter.

My lessons are professional and intensive and, unless you have different wishes and goals, always include a nice balance of the four skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking). A nice, relaxed and friendly atmosphere in my classes is very important to me and I always stay open to your questions even in between our sessions. I like giving an occasional homework assignment as they do speed up the learning process immensely if done regularly.Öğretim materyallerim

Tuve una excelente experiencia en mi primera sesión de croata. Me sentí muy cómoda desde el principio, ya que Maja creó un ambiente agradable. Me proporcionó ejemplos y explicaciones detalladas de gramática que fueron muy útiles. Además, me hizo preguntas que fomentaron mi participación activa durante la conversación y aprendí vocabulario nuevo. Jedva čekam nastaviti učiti s njom. Sretni blagdani! 🎄

Maja is always very professional and willing to meet me where I am in the lesson. She will repeat herself, have me read out aloud, and will give me examples of when to use sentences/words in real situations. Highly recommend her!
