Hi!
My name is Elisabeth and I am a native Norwegian speaker from Kristiansand, Norway. I have been tutoring for more than 10 years, and I love teaching Norwegian as a second language. I have a natural love for languages, and I have studied English, Greek, Latin, Russian and German. I have traveled and lived all over the world, and I love meeting people from different cultures. Academically, I have an MA in psychology and counseling, BA's in Biology and Political Science, and I am currently working on my MA in political science, as well as an MDIV degree. I am hoping to start medical school in the fall and become a medical doctor.
Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I teach intensive courses in Norwegian. The next round of intensive courses starts in March/April. There is a mini intensive, as well as a full intensive course. I do not have a single approach to teaching because all of my students are different, but whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I will adapt my teaching style to your needs. For the intensive courses I take a traditional approach to teaching, I use a textbook in combination with online exercises, but I am flexible in my teaching methods and willing to work with your learning style.
Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
I am currently accepting new students for Norwegian intensive courses for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. The courses are 27 (mini) or 54 (full) hours long, and students usually study for 2 to 3 hours a week.
I love teaching, and my goal is to help you build confidence, give you a love for the Norwegian language and the Norwegian culture, and hopefully have some fun along the way. If you have any questions, feel free to message me:) I hope to see you in class!
The teacher cancelled the lesson on me, saying that she doesn't have room for any new individual students. For some reason, italki did not stop me from booking with her.. and I feel that a change needs to be made to the italki system to more clearly display teachers' real availabilities. now I am waiting for a refund.

Does an excellent job of correcting pronunciation errors and adding in supporting vocabulary. Gives great details about how cadence works between different languages.
