Naru🇯🇵

Today we reviewed the homework from the last session and did some practice of what we learned in the previous lesson. We are almost at the end of the first Genki book. I still have to wrap my head around some of the grammar I have been learning recently, but everything has been going well so far 😁.

It's super fun to talk to Naru-san! She's kind, easy going and always really patient with me. She explains my mistakes to me really well, and I feel really comfortable talking with her. Thank you so much Naru-san :D

Today we learned new verb forms to express "it's better that", as well as the uses of ので. Every time a new verb form is introduced, practice becomes a bit challenging, as it takes a few days for my brain to process it, but Naru Sensei always does her best to help me absorb and understand the new knowledge. Thank you 😊.

Naru-sensei listened carefully to my conversation and took notes on my mistakes. Her feedback was incredibly helpful—I highly recommend her lessons!

Today we reviewed the homework from the last lesson together with some Kanji practice, and started learning how to use the たい form for the verbs. This form seems a bit more straightforward than others I have learned before, so it was easy to learn, though not that easy to use in the first exercises I did! We are getting close to finishing the first Genki book. I am happy with all I have learned so far, and feel a bit more confident with my speaking, but I know this is just the beginning and I cannot wait to learn more. Thank you, Naru Sensei 😁.
