Hi! My name is Sam and I am a native English speaker from Colorado in the United States. I currently live in Cuenca, Ecuador and love traveling and learning about new cultures. I am an avid reader and music fan and am constantly picking up new books to dive into new worlds. I have made friends who are now spread out around the globe and love to travel and visit them and learn the history of the places they live. I have taught ESL to students in Ecuador before and understand that it can be nerve-wracking to not only learn another language but to also feel like you are going to make a mistake in front of someone who knows the language fluently. I am a big proponent of learning in a very calm, comfortable, and laid-back environment and learning aspects of the language that will help advance your own personal goals. While I have taught ESL to new students, I have also had to learn a second language myself and understand the concerns and nerves that go along with it.
