Hello there! I am an American from Denver who loves to travel and learn about other cultures!
I have an undergrad degree in Economics and Business Analytics, and I have been teaching and tutoring language and business courses online to university students and business professionals for a few years now.
These days, I am living part-time in Colombia, fully immersed in the Spanish-speaking world. In addition to teaching, I work as a Spanish Language Consultant, which includes working as a post-editor for grade-school curriculum.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I have been teaching since 2008, and offering classes online since 2021.
Most recently, I was working with University students online and was based in the USA, but then decided to transition into work that could allow me to travel!
Having experience with travel, language, business, and education, along with everyday life in Colombia, I find myself uniquely situated to help bridge the gap between US and Latin American cultures through my work.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
Most of my teaching style and strategy is based on the advice of learning experts and polyglots:
1. Interactive conversation is the key element to language acquisition!
2. Learning during play causes massively improved retention!
3. Each student is unique, and a learning plan should be flexible enough to accommodate a student's specific learning style and needs!
As we progress, we will capitalize on whatever works best for you, personally.
