Hello, My name is Lesley and I’m a native speaker of British English, although I now live in Spain.
I am a friendly, patient, enthusiastic teacher who loves her work.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I have around 20 years of teaching experience in various roles, am Tefl qualified and specialise in teaching intermediate to advanced adult learners, from level B1+ to C2.
I believe that learning English through reading, with conversation, is an excellent method of improving all areas of language, such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, knowledge of idioms and more.
Conversation and discussion on what has been read helps with fluency, comprehension and informal, conversational English - all while enjoying thought-provoking articles on a very wide range of subjects.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
Learning a language at a really deep level involves more than just mastering verb conjugation, and word order. It also includes understanding the behaviors and customs of the society which developed, and continues to change and expand, the language.
Language is deeply intertwined with culture. Without an understanding of the values, customs and social norms that shape communication, nuances and shadings that influence meaning are lost.
I offer 5 courses to help you achieve a rich, understanding of English language, particularly British English.
