My name is Norio. I was born in 1951 and raised in Saitama, Japan.
In 1995, I took Japanese Language Training Course and I have been teaching Japanese to foreigners of various occupations since then.
I really enjoy riding my motorcycle. I have travelled across the American continent by motorcycle alone. Also, I have ridden around some countries in Europe.
I do work out at the gym at least 3 times a week.
Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I have been teaching Japanese for over 30 years. At first, I just volunteered. In 1995 I took Japanese Language Instructors Qualification Course, and ever since I’ve been a teacher to foreigners of various occupations. I believe language is an important means of communication. I’d like to help you improve your Japanese, and stimulate your interest in learning it more. I’ve always strived to help people who visit Japan. And what better way than to teach them Japanese! I’m very patient when I teach. I like to take time when preparing for my lessons. This way I never lack material nor topics in conversations with my students. Lesson type I can offer ranges from individual to small/large group.
Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
I endeavor to prepare well for my lessons. I do so by preparing teaching material appropriate to your needs and your current Japanese level. I own lots of course material, and I’m constantly creating new ones. My lesson components range from very basic Japanese (starting from hiragana and katakana and simple kanjis), to the higher and advanced levels (JLPT N2 and N1). Beside grammar and sentence structure, I like to incorporate every-day conversation too in my lessons. I believe these are vital for your daily life in Japan. With your help and cooperation, I know I can create a significant learning experience which will help you achieve progress in your Japanese learning journey.

Norio is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher, who was invested in finding the best way for me to learn. We managed to combine all the things I wanted to work on while having a fun conversation! He also speaks English well, so he can explain things in English if needed.

Had a great lesson with Norio-san who is a kind and enthusiastic teacher. Before the lesson he messaged me and asked what things I would like to discuss. For the lesson he had prepared lots of examples of the grammar point I was struggling with. It was very helpful, and I really appreciated the extra effort he made.

Norio was very kind and helpful. I'm an absolute beginner in Japanese, and he prepared a lot of material for me to review. I'm grateful for his guidance and patience. Thank you!
