MIN C

I just had another lesson with Min and it went so well! As a beginner I was nervous about reading/speaking, but I feel very comfortable as Min makes it a very comfortable environment and she corrects my pronunciation as needed. Min also provided me with practice books that we went over during the lesson which was great. Overall, I really like the way her lessons are structured and I look forward to taking more lessons!

I've just had my first lesson and it was great! Min was very patient and attentive which I really appreciated. I was very happy with my lesson.

First lesson with Min and it went really well! Thanks to a questionnaire filled in before the lesson, she immediately understood my expectations and my level of Korean, and we were able to move straight on to the content of the lesson. As the vocabulary was new and a bit complicated, she explained the meanings of the words very well and gave extra examples. After the lesson, she also sent me grammar notes on the difficulties she had perceived during the lesson. This is very useful for the future! Min is patient and encouraging, thank you!

Today's lesson was fun. Before lesson, Teacher Min sent a lesson plan which gives me an idea of what we are going to do in class. At the start of the class, we did spelling which benefits me in writing as well as remembering new words. During class, we did a lot of speaking practices and Teacher Min corrected my pronunciation. Even though it is 9pm in Korea, Teacher Min gives her all during lesson. See you during our next lesson! :)

The class with Min C was interesting. We took the class via a Google Meeting instead of Zoom or the Italki Classroom. As I had already done a few lessons with a previous teacher, we started at Level 5 of the Sejong textbook. Min C uses a GTM (Grammar Translation Method) as the main teaching style of the class. Once I was taught the grammar, there was a lot of oral repetition drills through speaking and a bit of writing. There was a mixture of reading, listening and speaking through the textbook exercises. She also uses CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) techniques to make you gain confidence that you have understood the knowledge through different oral tasks. Although there was positive encouragement during the class. There were moments during the class where there felt like there was a slight lack of energy. This could have been due to the class being around 10 pm Korean time. Overall I would rate the class a 8.5/10. Book a lesson and let Min C help you on your Korean journey.

Today is my first lesson and I had fun. I was able to practice reading and practice my speaking. Teacher is friendly and patient and she makes me feel comfortable even though it is our first lesson together. Looking forward to more lessons in the future. Thank you for today :)
