Hi, I'm Yvonne, and I teach both English and Zulu on iTalki. I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa, a city rich in culture and history. I have a passion for gardening, which teaches me patience, and I enjoy spending time in nature. I also love cooking and experimenting with new recipes from around the world, often sharing food traditions in my lessons. It's fun and a relatable way to connect and learn. I am a native English and Zulu speaker and, I consider myself a language coach, to help you become fluent in your preferred language. I focus on what matters most to you, whether that's speaking with ease, building confidence, or using the language in everyday situations. I live in South Africa where both languages are spoken, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson. If you are looking to improve your language for work, I offer coaching in business vocabulary and communication. My classes are relaxed, flexible and tailored to your needs. I teach English and Zulu with a South African accent. My lessons are structured into two parts, for trial lessons, I assess your needs, goals and language proficiency level through a small exercise, which helps me tailor a personalised learning plan. Normal lessons are interactive and engaging, with lots of conversations and real-life scenarios to make learning dynamic and enjoyable.
