Hello! I’m thrilled to introduce myself as an experienced teacher and tutor of the Greek language, dedicated to helping students of all levels unlock the beauty and complexity of this ancient tongue. My name is Stratos and I am a native Greek from Thessaloniki. I hold a BA in English Linguistics and Literature and I have many years of experience tutoring English to Greek speakers and Greek to English speakers. In addition, my background and experience in IT and especially elearning systems help me create and customize interactive content for students of all levels.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
No two learners are the same and my experience allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I believe good teaching is like good parenting. I strive to provide the students with all the necessary linguistic and cognitive tools to enable them to become independent in their study, saving them from the harsh reality of wasting time reinventing the wheel. In my teaching practice, I try to incorporate all the latest and most modern approaches to learning, such as spaced repetition, active recall and task-based learning, emphasizing learners' active construction of knowledge through meaningful tasks and interactions.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
My teaching methods are dynamic and interactive, focusing on communicative competence. I employ a variety of resources, including:
Authentic Materials: Incorporating songs, films, and literature to immerse students in real-life contexts.
