Juan Carlos

As always, Juan Carlos has given an excellent lesson. We have a pretty good routine. We begin the session with normal conversation, sharing recent events and chatting like friends sitting in a coffee house. About halfway through the lesson, we transition to the part where I read Harry Potter aloud to practice my Spanish pronunciation of words. It's fun, and I love it. In our regular chatting session, I didn't understand "Gavarres." We opened a Google Map to show me. That worked. However, that made me want to ask about different parts of Spain. Juan Carlos helped me find a place in Barcelona where I only had fragments of memories to piece together "Mosaic tiles of a lizard." We found Parc Grüell, and it was delightful. I received all these lessons while practicing following directions to manipulate Google Maps and conversing in Spanish. For this Thanksgiving, I am very thankful that I've found a teacher who is so flexible and so incredibly patient.

Maravilloso profesor, muy cercano, hace que el tiempo vuele y la experiencia no sea solo útil si no también muy divertida. Recomiendo para todas las personas que se sientan inseguras o tengan vergüenza.

Very encouraging and helpful. I asked if we could do an activity where I described various nail art designs, and he helped me learn new vocabulary and describe the designs in a way that made sense.

8 had a great time chatting with Juan Carlos. He is very chatty and fun to talk to, super friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and the conversation flowed very easily. All perfect for what I am looking for - someone to practice my conversational skills with, especially to be able to use more colloquial phrases naturally!
