I’m originally from a Muslim neighborhood in southwest Beijing, but I grew up living in multiple countries. Currently I'm in Tkaronto ("Toronto"), Turtle Island. I’ve dedicated my entire life to studying and teaching languages, and I recently completed a master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Toronto. In addition to teaching on this platform, I also work as a licensed healthcare interpreter.

Language Interpreter Training Program (LITP) - Seneca College - 2020The Language Interpreter Training Program (LITP) is designed to train, at the college level, professional interpreters who can perform with a high degree of competence in the legal, health care and community sector. Seneca College was the first college to offer 1LITP, which was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, the Ministry of the Attorney General and Health and Social Service agencies. This certificate program is 180 hours in duration with six courses.
