Muyoung

After more than 3 years and 300 lessons, I can say without a doubt that Muyoung has been a tremendous help in my Korean studies. He has consistently watched over my sentences; untiringly and patiently correcting my mistakes (no matter how often I make them); never spoon feeding me with grammar. Without this style of teaching, I don’t think I would have progressed the way I wanted to at all. Thank you for everything, Muyoung. It has bean interesting, learning with you. :)

Today is exactly 3 years since I first started learning Korean from Muyoung. He is my first and only Korean teacher simply because I feel so comfortable with him, his method of teaching, patience, and his calm and cheerful demeanour. He caters lessons to my needs and likes, and so, it is always a pleasure to learn from him. It was really difficult to learn Korean from scratch, but I think I am having the hang of it already.

Lessons aren't only about grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, or sentence construction anymore, but they are also about learning to express and relate daily happenings and having natural conversations while being corrected and helped along the way by Muyoung. At this stage, I feel no stress in learning as we have mostly covered the difficult basics, and now, complete fun has kicked in during lessons. There is still a lot of improvement to work on.

I always have a great class with Muyoung and it's nice to see myself slowly progressing, he's so nice at patient and encouraging 😊 definitely recommend him as a teacher

I had a trial lesson with Muyoung. It was very fun, Muyoung was engaging and great at continuing the conversation. When necessary, he would moderate his language so that it was easier to understand. He provided notes throughout the lesson on things we had discussed. Great lesson!
