Hello everyone! Hola a todos!
My name is Haleigh. I'm a TESOL certified teacher from California, USA, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area. Now I live in Paraguay with my husband and my dog Lua. I speak Spanish and am trying to learn Guarani, an indigenous language spoken here in Paraguay. I have been teaching English since January of 2021, and I have experience teaching both adults and children. I also have experience teaching exam preparation, mostly for the IELTS exam. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I help my students on a personal level to achieve their goals. I've been teaching English since the beginning of 2020. My accent is easy to understand, and I'm patient and laidback. We can adapt the classes to your goals and level. I prefer teaching students who already know some English (with the exception of Spanish speakers, see below). I focus on helping my students improve their conversational English and fluency. Please message me if you have something specific in mind for your class and I will be as accommodating as possible.

I offer conversation classes, which are free conversations about any topic you would like. I also provide more structured lessons with reading materials, videos, and other materials to help you to advance. In my structured lessons, IELTS lessons, and kids classes we will be working in a Google doc with the materials and I will type out corrections. I will share this document with you after each class, along with homework if you would like. If you have any questions or requests please message me before your lesson.Öğretim materyallerim
