Anni

By any measure, Anni is an excellent teacher! I have now completed 100 Tagalog lessons with Anni. Before classes with Anni, my Tagalog was limited to "thank you, good morning, and a few frustration words." I was concerned that at my age (70s) I would have a hard time with Tagalog, but the results of Anni's teaching have impressed and pleased me. Lessons are easy going, fun, and enjoyable. Anni's natural teaching style is patient, respectful, spontaneous, creative, encouraging, and never patronizing. I feel OK making mistakes. Her gentle corrections are easily accepted. Her homework assignments are personally interesting to me. Her explanations are clear and thorough. Anni is very skillful at helping things move along. I have known other teachers who seem to get stuck overworking ideas. Not so in Anni's classes. She has no quirky mannerism or tone of voice that can get tiresome. Teacher Anni creates personalized lesson material to help me recall the correct usage of complicated grammar rules. It's very helpful and reassuring to know that she adjusts the lessons based on her students' needs! She is the best Tagalog teacher I've ever had!

I’m a 72 year old retired teacher of 45 years. Much of my career was mentoring teachers and students who became teachers. ANNI has now given me 50 Tagalog lessons. She is a natural teacher and knows her curriculum thoroughly. Lesson are well-prepared, and include a discussion of new homework. Anni is highly intelligent, knowledgable, and has a deep understanding of both English and Tagalog grammar. I have never felt pushed or that lessons were slow. Her explanations are clear and concise. My mistakes are never an issue. I selected Anni from numerous teachers offered online. I found her speech clear in both Tagalog and English. Anni is spontaneous, creative, has a good sense of humor, and is respectful of others. I feel Anni is on “my team” helping me with my Tagalog journey. She is supportive. She is punctual. Tagalog lessons with Teacher Anni are always productive and helpful. She always provides clear, concise answers/explanations to my questions on vocab and grammar.
