Joanna is a terrific tutor. She is very easy to talk to, and I feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes in her class. Joanna has a talent and a reporter's mind for asking the right questions to prompt discussion. She puts a lot of thought into her responses and makes sure to ask if there's anything she can do to help. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to practice Portuguese!

Joanna is an amazing teacher! We talk about various topics each time we meet and she helps me with my errors as we talk. The conversations are engaging and I have a lot of fun. She also speaks English at an advanced level and can explain something in English if needed.

One of the best classes I have had on Italki and I have had over 300. Joanna was very well prepared, she always had something relevant to pivot the conversation to and allowed me to work on the areas that I wanted to improve in the class. I will definitely be having many more classes with Joanna.
