Hello! I am a native Turkish teacher from Turkey. I am also a child development teacher. I have been working as a teacher for more than 10 years.
I am a cheerful person. I like reading books, watching movies, and traveling. I learned English by taking lessons on italki and reading books. I also like travelling a lot. I have been to Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Georgia so far. I would love to talk about enjoyable things as well as having deep conversations.Öğretmen Olarak Ben

I prepare special customized materials for each student. First, we learn the rules, and then we do lots of practice in the same lesson.
I want the students to be comfortable and feel relaxed. I prefer having friendly conversation than making a strict lesson. In the end, you are here to improve your speaking skills in a relaxed setting.Öğretim materyallerim

Gülsüm is a very patient and kind teacher (and friend), who always encourages me to keep practicing and learning. We have great conversations about Turkish culture (and food) while learning, making each of my lessons fun and engaging. Gülsüm is a lovely person and I truly appreciate (and recommend) her!

I look forward to my lessons with Gülsüm every week. She creates such a supportive and encouraging environment to learn and practice in. You can tell that she clearly tailors each lesson to suit her students. I can already tell that my Turkish has improved a lot since starting lessons with her. :-)
