Do you want to be more confident speaking to coworkers or traveling?
I specialize in teaching conversational Spanish and have been teaching languages full-time since 2016 when I was certified by the University of Cambridge through a CELTA course.
After more than 2300 classes taught on italki I can easily recognize the different types of needs that each student has, and how to cater to those needs.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
My personality and experience allows me to be very relatable to students of beginner, intermediate or advanced level of different ages (between 13 to 60+ years of age).
My lessons are student-driven, even though my classes always have a formal lesson plan sometimes the student has something else in mind, be it a back and forth conversation or a specific grammar element or language skill, the student is the one that decides where the class goes (even if he/she doesn't realize)Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
The style of each class also changes with each student the same way my lessons are student-driven, not everyone learns the same way, some people need more visual stimuli, others need to listen and emulate, others prefer to do written exercises.
I like to ask my students for some information before the lesson so I can prepare a specific lesson for that student depending on his/her needs and preferences.Öğretim materyallerim

Jorge is a uniquely gifted teacher, I greatly enjoyed my session with him! In addition to being positive and incredibly supportive, he has a great sense of humor which makes the sessions fun. He has a wonderful ability to explain grammatical concepts in a way that make sense for someone at my intermediate level to improve, and I truly was able to learn a lot in our time together. I cannot recommend Jorge more! I've had numerous teachers on italki and Jorge is attentive, knowledgeable, engaging and best of all, he can explain plainly in a way that's very easy to understand. I hope he will never quit teaching Spanish. Oh and his English is spot on as well so he can explain it in English very clearly.

I enjoy Jorge's sense of humor and his ability to explain grammar in an understandable way. I also appreciate the notes he takes during our sessions so I can review them after class.

Jorge is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I learn so much in each lesson. His classes are fun and thorough. Plus, he challenges me to try when I’m stuck on a sentence or word which helps me retain the information we learned during the session.
