Hi, italki friends, I am Pedro, come from Hangzhou, China. Now I am studying for my master's degree in Munich, Germany. As a Chinese student, I hope to try my best to build a bridge of cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

Admittedly I am a new teacher on italki, but my experience of studying in Europe has ignited a great passion for teaching Chinese and introducing Chinese culture. While studying in Europe, I have met many Europeans of the older generation. They don’t know much about China, but they always seem to have some misunderstandings and prejudice about China; I have also met many young Europeans. They don't know much about China either, but they have great enthusiasm for Chinese culture. From the perspective of foreigners, I can feel more about what foreign friends want to know about China. Language is a carrier or ship of culture, and Chinese is no exception. I want to help you learn Chinese through introducing Chinese culture and history. In this way, you will understand much better the thousand-year history and cultural stories behind Chinese characters. In my class, I also want to share with you my experience of learning Chinese and the traditional Chinese culture, so that you can improve your Chinese and have a better understanding of China and Chinese culture. Pedro ist ein sehr engagierter Lehrer, welcher stets sehr gut vorbereitet den Unterricht gestaltet und sehr individuell auf die Schwachstellen eingehen kann. Ich freue mich auf weitere Sprachstunden mit Pedro und kann ihn absolut weiterempfehlen!
