He taught me something i've never been taught before!

I have been having lessons with Shinne for a year now. Shinnie is patient, respectful and passionate about his students learning. When I thought I wasn’t progressing he showed me how much I have learned and helped restore my confidence. Shinnie has taught me how to study successfully again using his proven methods and my self-confidence has grown. I know Shinnnie teaches people with ADHD, stuttering, mental illnesses, and disabilities as I have some of these conditions. However, he has never discriminated against me and has been truly dedicated to my Korean learning. I have tried learning with other Korean teachers who have given me false compliments which I did not find productive. Shinnie has helpfully pointed out attitudes or habits that have hindered my progress and he is always honest about my skills and goals. You can trust him and just follow his guidance—without overthinking or false delusions. Shinnie is an excellent, top rate teacher. If I can do it, you can too.

감사합니다, 시니 씨! Today was a great lesson and Shinnie’s techniques were especially helpful as I try to grow in my free speaking ability and increase my vocabulary. English is my first language and many years ago, I learned Spanish by fully immersing myself in the language, but these days my time to learn Korean can be very limited. Shinnie pushes me to be disciplined with the time I do have while also teaching me more efficient and effective ways to study. I can see my progress over time and that encourages me to stick with it. If you are serious about learning and willing to put in the effort, I highly recommend Shinnie as he is a wonderful teacher.

Shinnie practices all the elements, from reading, speaking, writing to all the different tenses. Really enjoyable lesson.
