I'm Miguel. Born and raised in the Philippines. I have a business degree and a TEFL certification.
I've had a corporate job for over 4 years and then I decided to resign and move to Europe.
I worked in Madrid as an English language assistant and I also taught English as a private tutor.
I love music - I play the guitar, drums, and the harmonica.
I play basketball and chess. I read a lot about business and philosophy. I also do street photography and I write a lot.
I am also a language learner! I self-studied French and Spanish, my Italian and Portuguese are conversational, my Russian is mediocre and I'd get back to German and Chinese again soon. I'm now learning Czech!

Edison is seriously the best- he's super patient and really cares about your learning. I feel like that's a large reason why I've made so much progress with him! Definitely take his classes if you want to learn how to express and articulate your thoughts :)

Just finished my second lesson and I really enjoyed the class! Currently focusing on my speaking practice because it's my weakest point in learning Tagalog. Edison Miguel does a great job of immersing me with the dialogues and role playing that force me to think and practice speaking. Would recommend booking a class with Edison Miguel!

Had a really good first lesson, Miguel was really great at gauging what my current level was and going from there. It felt really relaxed and appreciated his patience and easy going demeanor. Looking forward to future lessons. 😊
