l'm a native Chinese with experiences teaching Italian language & culture to college students. l have a B.A. in Communication Science, and Master's degree in Communication & Marketing. I lived in Europe for 6+ years, where l learnt to speak fluent Italian and other European languages (Spanish>French> German).

Here on italki, l'd like to become a tutor teaching my native language - Chinese, as well as Italian and English, while l can also share with my future students the passion l find in connecting all languages and cultures; whether the student is learning a second/third/.. language for interest, setting off for a new life destination, anticipating a trip, getting equipped for an interview, or looking for career development in a business setting...l can always find a way to help from a communication and language expert's perspective.

During my two semesters at a Chinese university, l taught Italian to two classes of approximately 60 students. My teaching plan included grammar, speaking, reading and culture lessons for students to achieve B1 level in Italian. Besides European standard Italian learning textbooks, l designed the curriculum to be more up to date with Italian daily life living and centered on modern culture. For other languages tutoring lessons, l would apply similar methods, while they will be adjusted depending on the student's needs and his/her target language level.

Wu Xiao is an excellent teacher, who is extremely knowledgeable about contemporary Chinese history, politics, and economics. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting in to improve their language skills.
