Hello! I am Elena and I am native Italian and I am a passionate traveler.
I had an eclectic education: I have a diploma as travel agency director - for 11 years I led a tourist service agency in Venice -; I studied at the university of Political Science; I have attended many certified courses in marketing strategy and service design. I am currently writing as freelance collaborator for a national newspaper "Il Gusto di Repubblica". I have been teaching Italian to passionate students for the last 5 years, and I should say that's my "happy moment" of the day. I love sharing my culture as well as my mother tongue, this is a great way to share my love for communication.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
My teaching method is personalized and based on every single student passions. My way of teaching is also inclusive and interactive: I love to tell current events, interact with the student telling experiences and real facts. During the first lesson I'll collect some infos about you: which passions do you have, what are your wishes, why you whant to learn italian. Then, once your very personal study plan will be ready, we will start learning. During every lesson I'll stimulate you by offering readings, videos and exercises that will suit you.
Each student will have a diversified panorama of supporting material which includes videos (from my personal archive or from the web); texts and excerpts from books or articles; interactive grammar exercises; songs and podcasts. I so desperately want to be able speak Italian really, really well some day. But that day often feels so far away and I wonder if there’s any way I can ever get there. But after a lesson with Elena Sofia I always feel inspired and a little bit closer to making my dream come true. Maybe I really can do it!?! If I ever do, it’ll be thanks to Elena Sofia!!
