The video contains the following subjects: 00:00-01:05 Speaking English and Dutch, 01;05-03:20 The problems of learning Dutch you may encounter, 03:20-06:02 The languages i can speak at various levels. As you saw in my video i am Dutch and i have been brought up with an open mind, i am atheist and mostly social democratic. But i am always open for Socratic conversations to learn about other peoples views. At the moment i lost my job due to Corona, that is why i am available almost all day everyday. I am very patient. I think it's important to make it fun and not forced. We can talk about anything you want, i am interested in many things so i can learn a lot from you! Don't hesitate to ask questions, non questions are stupid. My favorite quote is "Cogito ergo sum"from Descartes, it reminds you about that we don't know anything in life but life itself and that we should always be open to new information because we will keep learning until we breath our last breath. My next favorite quote connects to the last one and goes like this "the more you know the more you know you don't know" from Aristotle. THE REASON FOR MY PRICE: I dont get what you pay, for 10 dollars i get maybe 6 euros. First the dollar is worth less than a euro, then italki takes a share, then paypal or payoneer takes a share and then the Dutch taxoffice takes a share. So in the end i am not left with a lot and thats why i needed to ask my prices.

Jason is a super cool teacher! I study Dutch with him for 3 month already and I see the results! And my Dutch colleagues noticed that as well. What also important to add - the lessons are very interesting and engaging! And homeworks too. Don’t want to spoiler, just go to his lessons!

Jason is a great teacher. He is very patient and good at explaining things in the most easy way possible. He will share with you not only his language knowledge but also many interesting facts about dutch culture. I have my classes for over a year with him and must admit I made a hudge improvement.

Learning Nederlands with Jason sparks joy! Jason is fun and engaging, knowledgeable and relaxed—a perfect environment for learning. I look forward to every lesson and I have definitely realized a noticeable improvement in my confidence and ability to communicate in Dutch. He uses an interesting mix of methods and materials that both reinforce and challenge my current level. I have discovered a love for the language! Jason is an effective and patient teacher and I’m inspired by him to continue to improve with conversation, pronunciation and grammar. Very nice introduction lesson. Jason made sure to learn about my goals and he did a good job assessing my current level before starting with some practice
