I have been a translator, interpreter, and language tutor for over twenty years. I have a great passion for this career. I use my experience to maximize the full potential of every student. I think a friendly attitude with my students is the best way to make the lessons effective and enjoyable. I try my best to boost the students' confidence by talking with them about topics they are interested in. Preferisco un approccio amichevole, in modo da facilitare l'interazione con lo studente, affinché il processo di apprendimento risulti efficace e gradevole. Je préfère une approche détendue, afin de faciliter l'interaction avec l'étudiant, pour que l'apprentissage soit plus efficace et plus agréable. Acho que um jeito descontraído na interação com os estudantes seja a melhor maneira de tornar a aprendizagem mais eficaz e agradável.

I believe that learning should always be a joy, a pleasure. According to the students' level and specific requests, my goal is to improve their ability to speak and understand the language; boosting their reading and writing skills is also an objective. I propose tailor-made exercises and grammar lessons, as well as specific subjects such as business terminology, literature, travel vocabulary, and the art of translation.

Franco is a gem. Since he is a translator by profession, he is able to offer a linguistic perspective when sustaining conversation and explaining concepts. He is also worldly and learned.

I have really enjoyed my Italian lessons with Franco . He is friendly and helpful but he is also very knowledgeable about languages and cultures which makes our conversations interesting and good fun , in fact they go too quickly. I have also studied Spanish and Franco's ability to move from one language to another is amazing and helps make the comparisons and contrasts which are a real help to gain a deeper understanding of the language.
