Hi! I’m Mana, born and raised in Japan, and I’ve been living in the States for a few years now. I work as a freelance translator and also have the pleasure of teaching Japanese here.
Aside from my native Japanese, I’m fluent in English and have a basic grasp of Chinese, especially in writing, which I’m happy to incorporate into lessons if it’s helpful!
In my free time, I love traveling, learning new languages, and exploring different cuisines from around the world. Some of my favorites are Turkish, Cantonese, and Korean food! I’d love to hear about your favorite dishes from your local cuisine too.Öğretmen Olarak Ben

Mana is a great teacher! We've been going through the Genki book, steadily one grammar point at a time. She helps me understand the concepts and corrects my mistakes. When I learn a new complex grammar point, she has examples for me and I make sentences using the newly learned grammar. Can't wait for the next lesson!
