I am a open-minded person. I love to travel, descovering new places and cultures. Therefore I enjoy learning new languages and using and practicing them where I can. At first I took part in several organised trips as well as exchange programs and later on I went backpacking on my own, raising a little bit the level of adventure! As I love to learn languages myself I try to find the most entertaining way of teaching my native language to my students. It is always motivating to use hobbies or interest as a base for learning a language! Besides the theory of grammar which always comes with it, the fun-part should never be missed! The most important aspect is the motivation!
As for myself I do enjoy teaching, pointing out new ways and possibilities of learning. Accompanying my students in their learning or improving process.
I did a training to be a certified German teacher from the Goethe Institut (Lehrerin für Deutsch als Zweit- und Fremdsprache --> DaF/DaZ-Zertifikat) which I completed successfully in April 2023.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
It always depends on the type of student you are, everyone learns in different ways. So I adapt my way of teaching individually to my students learning type. There are many ways to keep the classes interesting by being creative and using songs, german series, audiotexts, videos and games instead of only the textbook.

As the italki-system proposes, there is the posibility to cancel or change schedule until 24hs before the lesson begins. The past couple weeks we have been studying voice acting in German and it has been an excellent way to level up vocabulary, pronunciation, cultural understanding, and difference in dialects. Plus it is lots of fun! Charly did a thorough job with some Simpsons scenes (the famous Gedämpfte Huscheln and another with Homer) and a Bayerisch version of Harry Potter. Mei donke gell! She is an excellent teacher who goes the extra mile in creating learning material, jo freili!

I'd highly recommend lessons with Charly! Conversation is easy and engaging, and she is kind in adapting lessons to the student's needs and interests. For the informal tutoring sessions, the provision of outside material is helpful, and facilitates a nice combination of speaking practice with work on other skills. I'm appreciating improving my speaking in a relaxed, stress-free, and supportive environment. Thanks! :)
