Hello everyone :)
I'm Anika from the south of Germany (native speaker) and live since 5 years with my brazilian husband and our two children in Portugal. That's the reason why I am also able to speak portuguese with you if it helps :).
In 2018 I traveled one year with my backpack through the world and could gather a lot of international experiences through Volunteering (New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Asia). Teaching languages and building the first english library in Sulawesi was life-changing for me! Since then I knew teaching is what fulfills me.

I have a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management and am certified through the Goethe Institute to teach German. I am giving German lessons for people all over the world since 2019 and I love it!!! I have experience teaching kids and adults of all professions (e.g.: teaching since two years nurses that just arrived in Germany).

Anika is a delightful German tutor! She is quite conscientious and she has been very flexible and open to my learning style. She prepares exercises for me, gives me homework if I am interested, and corrects my German gracefully. She adapted her lessons to my mixed level German skills quickly and with good ideas. She is reliable and punctual, which quite helpful. Best of all, Anika is an interesting person with interesting things to share while also curious about me in a way that draws me in to fun conversation. She is a quick thinker and perceptive. We laugh a lot! Anika is a treasure and I highly recommend working with her!

Anika hat eine beeindruckend breite Perspektive auf viele gesellschaftliche Themen wie Menschenrechte, soziale Gerechtigkeit, Umwelt, Gesundheit und Kinderbetreuung. Diese Sensibilität und ihr Engagement machen die Gespräche mit ihr besonders bereichernd. Darüber hinaus habe ich Anika als eine sehr unterstützende und großzügige Person im Umgang mit ihren Schülern erlebt. Sie gibt stets wertvolle Rückmeldungen und motiviert einen, sich zu verbessern. Ich kann sie daher wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
