There's teaching, and then there's ✨teaching✨ — Subin 선생님's classes help you learn that distinction in real time 😄 선생님 makes learning Korean fun, engaging, and interactive! That's low-key the secret sauce of teaching~ and, to be honest, it's really hard to do well. That's why I appreciate our classes. 선생님 facilitates a classroom that feels superrrrrrrrrr (ten Rs!) welcoming and open, and where I feel comfortable making mistakes (because I know 선생님 will give me the appropriate feedback) and asking literally ANY question (because 선생님 will always give it to me straight). 😊 It could be because 선생님 knows the struggles of learning several languages not her own—and there's a real humility that comes from the hustle and grind of memorizing vocabulary, learning grammar rules, and communicating what you want to say in a way that people will understand. There ain't no shortcuts to this language stuff, but there is a lot of room for creativity. 선생님 always reminds me of this. Thank you, 선생님 🤓

As a teacher myself, I can say with confidence that Subin 선생님 truly has a gift for teaching. The lesson moves along so naturally, and she finds a way to incorporate grammar that I’m struggling with into our conversations. I appreciate the work she puts into our lessons and her materials are very helpful. It feels structured and organized, even without a boring textbook. Looking forward to the next lesson! :)

She is the QUEEN of Italki^^ I am beyond grateful to have such an amazing teacher who truly goes above and beyond in helping me grow. One of the standout qualities of this teacher is her keen ability to identify my weaknesses almost instantly and thoughtfully tailor lessons and provides targeted material to help me overcome those specific challenges. Another great lesson today. :) It feels so rewarding to be able to practice all the grammar I’ve learned already and apply it, with 선생님’s help. I’ve already learnt about a lot of grammar points (I had been self-studying for a while), but she breaks down the grammar in the most simple way and lets me practice them a lot, without judgement. I only regret that I didn’t take lessons with her sooner! It would’ve saved me a lot of time. Haha

My teacher Subin gives a lot of attention to my weaknesses and what needs to be improved. Really appreciate the hard working teacher in and out the classroom. Thank you for all the tips and precious material !
