Martina

My speaking has substantially improved with these lessons with Martina. My husband and I went to Italy, and I was able to comfortably have many conversations with people who spoke little to no English. I still have a long way to go to be fluent, but my level is certainly enough to get around even in small Italian villages.

Martina is an excellent and patient teacher. She lets me search for that word that is on the tip of my tongue without ever showing the least bit of frustration. The material she uses is varied and we touch on many aspects of the Italian language. I can highly recommend lessons with Martina.

I've had a lot of fun and learned a ton with Martina, and in only a short time. I highly recommend her if you want to start Italian.

This was my first lesson after an extended break, and Martina of course handled that perfectly. She is always patient and speaks at an appropriate level (a little challenging but not too challenging). She is also always thinking of ways to make the lessons personalized and interesting.

I really liked this session and I'm eager to the next ones

I've been to Italy twice. I'd studied some Italian before the first trip and managed a few very limited conversations. Then I started lessons with Martina. During my second trip, while I am not fluent, I did substantially better. I was able to have conversations with many different people about a variety of topics. I am continuing my lessons so that on my next trip I will speak even better.
