Hello English learners! I am Ariana, I am from the United States. I am a second year Master's student and I live in Italy. I have my bachelor's degree in English and an accredited TEFL certificate. Two years ago I lived in Madrid, Spain where I taught English to high school students. Now, I teach English at a language school to a class of students, and I have private lessons on italki. My lessons are student-based, and I really like working with students one-on-one for this reason. Individual student lessons help me cater my class material to the student's individual learning style, which is the best way to get a student involved in their language learning and to help a student remember what they learn long-term. I want my students to speak as much as possible in our lessons (don't worry if you are shy, we can take our time and work on this together) and involving you in the topics is a great way to do so! Most of my lessons are very conversation-based, but the lesson structure will depend on your reason for learning English. If you need to prepare for a specific exam, then all skill sets will be addressed equally (or we will put more focus on the ones we believe need more attention). Your reason for taking English courses will be the most important factor in our approach to lessons and the lesson topics.
I have experience in phonetics research and a lot of material for pronunciation practice upon request.

Ariana is so nice teacher! She is very calm, patient, and supportive. She can discover the topics I like the most, and knows how to talk to a person, who is just starting their English adventure ;)
