Bonjour !
👉 Mick from Grenoble, France.
👉 I speak fluently English, Chinese Mandarin. I also speak Spanish well. Besides, I learn Japanese and Cantonese.
👉 I studied Chinese Mandarin by myself with an audio book.
👉 I lived one year in Honolulu (Hawaii) and about ten years in Asia, mostly in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
👉 Besides teaching French, I co-founded a tea house in Shenzhen. I buy tea from farmers in Taiwan.

While I'm teacher, first of all, I am a learner. Having gone through the process of studying many other languages, I can share my learning experience.
I have taught French since 2009 at secondary/middle/high schools:
• I started teaching in the high school of Saint-Martin-d'Hères, in Grenoble from 2007 to 2011.
• In 2011, I was a teacher in the Di Yi Zhong Xue high school of Weishan, Shandong, China.
• In 2015, I worked for a private school in Shekou, Shenzhen.
• When I moved to Hong Kong in 2016, I gave private lessons.

My teaching methods are intuitive, fun and adapted to the student’s
needs, for any level. I pay very close attention to the pronunciation;
grammar is integrated smoothly and naturally to understand the
subtleties of the language.
Lessons; I provide text and audio files (PDF, PPT, MP3).

We practice conversation based on different topics. I correct any grammar and pronunciation mistakes, and keep a record in a google doc.

He's a very interesting teacher with fascinating stories to share. Even though I'm at an intermediate level, I could understand everything he said, which felt incredibly rewarding. He seamlessly integrated advanced vocabulary without it feeling overwhelming. Our first class was mainly about introducing ourselves, and it went really well. I'll definitely be booking more classes with him.
