My name is Oren, and I am originally from Jerusalem, Israel, currently residing in California. I am a professional photographer, an artist, and a language tutor. I have traveled the world extensively and love meeting people and sharing knowledge. I lived in Mexico and Guatemala for over 18 months, immersing myself in Spanish. Arabic was spoken around me while growing up in Jerusalem. During my high school years, I studied it as a major. Later, as a photojournalist, I continued to learn more and am still learning today. Hebrew, which is my native language, is so rich that I enjoy the learning process it demands. This helps me to be a better tutor and share my knowledge with you.

Oren has helped me so much in progressing with Hebrew! He exposes me to new concepts that pushes me to learn more, but he is also patient and understanding when I don’t understand something. He knows my goal of being able to understand Biblical Hebrew, and he helps me to achieve that goal. He is equipped with various materials to guide me in my learning. Oren is an amazing teacher for anyone who wants to learn Hebrew effectively and enjoy the process. Thank you Oren!

I really enjoy the lessons with Oren. They are varied and interesting. Oren is is a very pleasant person who is always aware of making the lessons suitable for the student. He offers very good teaching materials e.g. short stories.
