Grace Guo

Very beneficial lesson. Grace老师 is a great teacher, and I would highly recommend her lessons especially for people who benefit from immersion learning. She quickly gauged my level of Chinese and found exercises which addressed my concerns and matched what I was able to do whilst still challenging me.

I had a great lesson with Grace! Even though this was my first lesson with her, she quickly was able to gauge my level and adjust her vocabulary accordingly in a way that I was able to understand almost all of what she was saying despite her speaking in Chinese over 95% of the time. She gave some great advice on how I could progress to deeper topics and vocabulary by looking at various media that I'm interested in, increasing exposure to input (输入) , and increasing my output (输出) through discussions on this media with teachers on Italki. Overall, even though my disjointed sentences were simple and slow at times, she would be able to keep the conversation flowing naturally. I'm looking forward to booking another lesson at some point in the future!

I really enjoy Guo Lao Shi's patience, calmness and light humor. In our lessons she really helps me with building senteces and understanding their structures, and always does it with a smile. Xie Xie! waiting for our next lesson.
