Hi, I'm Joelle, a native English speaker from Australia. I live in Scotland now and have been an English teacher for over a year. I taught English in Thailand and currently teach online over Zoom. I use Zoom, Skype and the italki classroom. I have a neutral Australian accent.
I'm learning Japanese but I'm only a beginner - learning Kanji is very hard!

I have a CELTA English teaching qualification, a post graduate psychology degree, and experience teaching adults. I mostly teach intermediate to advanced level students, and can also teach professional / business English, with a focus on conversation practice.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY
Please notify me at least 3 hours before the lesson time to cancel/reschedule without being charged for the class. If you are late or absent, I will wait for half of the lesson time to pass: 30-min class=15 mins max, 45-min class=23 mins max, 60-min class=30 mins max. After these times, I will leave and charge the full price of the class. If you book a class you have automatically agreed to my terms.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
I work to make sure my lessons are interesting and fun as well as informative. I'm an encouraging and positive teacher, I want you to feel relaxed and able to get the most out of your time practising English lessons. Feeling motivated to keep studying and practising your English is very important.
Let me know what you want to focus on, what your goals are for learning English, and I'll help you make it happen!
We'll start with conversation practise with a focus on pronunciation and correction of any mistakes. As we spend more time together I will see the areas you need most help with and can focus on those specific grammar points to improve your English.
