Hi, I'm Alejandra and I would like to help you improve the wonderful language of Spanish. I am a psychologist and in my free time I like to cook, study new subjects, dance a lot, travel and listen to music. My friends and family describe me as a patient and calm person.

For the past 8 years I have been working in a public school in the Dominican Republic as a psychologist, attending and teaching children with learning and behavioral problems. I love helping people and I would like to use my knowledge to help you learn more about the Spanish language and have fun doing it.

I specialize in teaching advanced students from b2 and upwards according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I use a conversational teaching style, communicating only in spanish, based on listening and speaking, that presents vocabulary and grammar in a topic-based context.

Alejandra is a great Spanish tutor. I enjoy lessons with her. She is abundantly patient and will explain things as many times as you need. She is really helping to challenge me with speaking and understanding new concepts nearly completely in Spanish. This has been very helpful with improving my listening skills.
