I am Colombian I like to travel to know cultures people. I am a spiritual person and I have a beautiful friendship with God. as I like diversity, I enjoy listening to and singing all kinds of music. I am a person who makes friends easily and I strive to be a good friend. I also like food: Peruvian, Mexican, Colombian and many others.
Soy Colombiana me gusta viajar conocer culturas personas. Soy una persona espiritual y tengo una bonita amistad con Dios. como me gusta la diversidad disfruto escuchando y cantando todo tipo de música. I am a good teacher because teaching is a passion that makes me happy. I love seeing the sparkle in the eyes of a person learning something new. I love children and I love teaching them. Also, I enjoy working with all kinds of people including deaf people or people with disabilities. I also have experience with youth, adults, and seniors.

I adapt to the pace and capacity of each student. My classes are a pleasant time to learn. Through didactics, pedagogy taught so that each student, according to their circumstances and needs, can learn. Friendly conversation and laughter are key when learning a language so this is also part of the classes.

Learning Spanish is so hard for me; It’s unbelievable how relaxed and comfortable I feel learning from Shirley. She meets me right where I am each class. Shirley gives the most appropriate homework of any italki teacher I have studied with. I would recommend her to anyone at any level of experience.

a wonderful teacher for my kiddos!! played games and a video of there favorite show/videogame in spanish. my kids loved it and are looking forward to their next lesson with Shirley

she is an amazing Spanish teacher to my two boys. Shirley starts the class off with a song, and a variety of different things to do each class in can be a game, read a story, read out loud tongue twisters...etc. My sons look forward to her classes!!
