I’m a flexible teacher. I believe as a teacher, it is important to understand your students' goals and interests to better serve their needs. Besides, I do not believe in learning a language through translation, because finding an equivalent in the learner's L1 for every word in his or her L2 is impossible. I also hold the view that it is crucial for language learners to be able to use the target language in their daily life.

I know chinese is a difficult language, i am very encouraging and patient with my students. I’m a very flexible teacher.
