I also have completed a course in Instituto Cervantes as ELE teacher and a Master's degree in Teaching in secondary school and language schools by Universidade de Vigo. Other teaching language experiences have been with teaching English to Haitian refugees in Los Angeles in 1991, informally, tutoring and teaching English to Spanish speakers, and teaching Spanish to visiting guests in the country. With my background in learning Haitian Kreyol and overseas studies in Austria, and learning Spanish on my own in Costa Rica, I really know the key to learning quickly.

Certified CELTA/ELE teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience. I graduated from university in Chile, where I studied to become a teacher of English. While still a student I won a scholarship to live in England and work as a Spanish tutor in a language school, so that experience really helped me become more fluent and relaxed about my use of English. I discovered that the most important thing when learning a language isn't to speak perfectly or with a specific accent, but to actually be able to communicate with other people and be understood, that's when learning really becomes motivating. In 2017 I took the CELTA course which gave me a different perspective on how to teach using ONLY English, something I thought almost impossible.
