中文：撒母耳说：“耶和华喜悦燔祭和平安祭，岂如喜悦人听从他的话呢？听命胜于献祭；顺从胜于公羊的脂油。”

Sāmǔ'ěr shuō: “Yēhéhuá xǐyuè fánjì hé píng'ān jì, qǐ rú xǐyuè rén tīngcóng tā de huà ne? Tīngmìng shèng yú xiànjì; shùncóng shèng yú gōngyáng de zhīyóu.”

사무엘이 말하되 “여호와께서 번제와 다른 제사를 그분의 말씀을 순종하는 것만큼 기뻐하시겠습니까? 순종이 제사보다 낫고, 듣는 것이 숫양의 기름보다 낫습니다.”


But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
