재미있는 점은, 미역국과 관련된 속어도 있다는 거예요. 한국에서는 "미역국을 먹다"라는 표현이 실패를 뜻하기도 해요. 미역이 미끄러운 식감을 가지고 있기 때문에, 기회가 미끄러지듯 사라졌다는 의미에서 나온 표현이죠. 그리고 아주 독특한 욕도 있는데요, 바로 “너네 엄마가 널 낳고 먹은 미역국이 아깝다”라는 말이에요. 이건 "엄마의 고생이 헛되었다"는 뜻인데, 절대 사용하지 않는 게 좋겠죠? 😅

私はいま、マレーシアにいます。

海外旅行(かいがいりょこう)をするとき、
なやむこと・・それはお金(かね)ですね。

日本では円(えん)ですが、
マレーシアでは、リンギットです。

日本にいるときは、ほとんど現金(げんきん)をつかいませんでした。

現金とは、お札(さつ)やコイン、
お金そのもののことです。

たとえば、

「このおみせは、現金だけしかつかえません。」

「現金のほかに、クレジットカードやQRコードもつかえますよ。」

「カードはつかえますか？」
「すみません、現金だけです。」

というかんじでつかいます。

日本では、昔(むかし)ながらのお店(みせ)やスーパーでは、
現金だけのところがあります。

みなさんの国では、どうですか？
現金だけ、のところはおおいですか？

きのう、マレーシアで電車(でんしゃ)にのりました。

現金だけしか、つかえませんでした。

しかもお札(さつ)は使えず、コインだけでした。

ちょっと大変(たいへん)でした。

電車に乗るまでに、20分ぐらい、かかりました。

これも旅のいい思い出(おもいで)です。
