Today is sunny and calm, but the temperature has plummeted. My mom has even donned her woolly sweater. My dad assisted me with my math homework, though I figure he struggles with managing his temper. When attempting to explain a real-world problem to me, he lost it bad and eventually gave up, yelling I was retarded. It was intimidating, but honestly effective. I later collected the scratch paper he used and studied his approach, imitating his way repeatedly for like a thousand times. Eventually, it dawned on me. It seems that, for these math problems, I must learn the hard way. There is no way around it.
