It was overcast today, and the gray sky left me feeling drowsy. My dad and I got up early and went to McDonald’s for brunch. They offer localized options like congee and China-pan. Those suited me perfectly, but Dad ended up giving me his hash brown since he was watching his diet. It was greasy, and later, while I was on the treadmill, I ended up with a stomachache. The gloomy weather really dragged our moods down, especially after the poor food choices. I shouldn’t have eaten that greasy hash brown! Luckily, the discomfort eased by noon. Overall, it was a peaceful day.
