The extract for retelling is from the story by J.K.Rowling. At the beginning of the story, the author introduces us family which was perfectly normal of number four, Privet Drive. The Dursley’s family (the normal family) consisted on Mr. Dursley, Mrs. Dursley and their little son Dudley. Mrs. Dursley had a sister, who was so strange. However, she pretended she did not have a sister, because her sister and her husband were UnDursleyish. Therefore, UnDursleyish people were the Potters. They had a little son too and he was age like a Dudley. The Dursleys did not want the neighbors will had known about the Potters.<o:p></o:p>

The opening scene shows relationships in Dursleys family. Mr. Dursley was about work. Then the action moves on to Dursley’s trip to job. When he was going to work, he noticed several mysteries things. First of all, his attention grabbed the tabby cat, which was sitting and reading the map. After, he had seen a lot of strangely dressed people. People in cloaks. The writer describes odd things, which were happened with Mr. Dursley. When he came back at home, he had felt that something was wrong. He was sure that it was attributed to Harry Potter. Mr. Dursley was right.<o:p></o:p>

Later the action develops at night. A man appeared on the corner the cat had been watching (the very tabby cat) appeared so suddenly and silently you had have thought he had just popped out the ground. This man’s name was Albus Dumbledore. He had known the cat and, in the same time, the cat turned into a severe-looking woman. Later the reader will have known the name of this woman. She was Pr. McGonagall.<o:p></o:p>

In the next scene the conversation between Dumbledore and Pr. McGonagall. They discussed many things. Let me give examples, Voldemort was gone, wizards were celebrating, Mr. and Mrs. Potter were killed. The last event became a reason this meeting.<o:p></o:p>

The crucial moment comes when the giant arrived. He was a huge man, who called Hagrid and he brought with himself bundle of blankets. Inside was a baby boy, fast asleep. His name was harry Potter. <o:p></o:p>

The Dumbledore decided to bring Harry to his aunt and uncle. He suggested they would be able to explain everything to him when he’s older. In addition, he had written them a letter.<o:p></o:p>

In conclusion, The Dumbledore, McGonagall and Hagrid left the bundle of blankets on the step of number four, Privet Drive and disappeared. Harry Potter was sleeping and he did not know that he was boy who lived.<o:p></o:p>
