Write a letter to your friend about a book that you have read recently. Include the following in your letter:
* describe the book
* say why you want him/her to read it
* tell him/her how to get the book
Hello, John,
How are you? I hurry to write to you because yesterday I completed reading the new book by Brian Tan about motivation strategies. It was pretty funny, because he recommended eating “frogs” every morning. The ‘frog” it is a task that you hate, your biggest challenge.
I really think this book could be useful for you, because it is the newest way to achieve any goals. For example, I remember your big dream is the ability to speak French fluently. In my mind, if you practice French every morning for 15 minutes, after 1 year it will be about 90 hours. It could be almost to the next level.
Since I finished reading this book, I can present it to you, maybe you can find the other strategies more valuable for you. Just let me know about your availability. I plan to be in Toronto during the next week. I hope you will be glad to see me.
Have a nice day.
Cheers,
Monica
