Hi, I want to talk about how long it takes to learn a language. I hope you like this article. 1-Mandarin (Chinese): According to the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, it will take English speakers 88 weeks (2,200 hours of active learning) to reach native/bilingual Chinese proficiency. 2-Japanese: According to the US Department of State, Japanese is one of the hardest languages for English natives to learn. It doesn't have many similarities in structure to English. They estimate it takes 88 weeks of learning, or 2200 hours, to reach fluency. 3-Korean: It takes about three months or 90 days to learn enough Korean to have at least 3-minute conversations in Korean if you study for 7 to 10 hours per week. 4-Russian: The Foreign Service Institute of the United States has determined that it takes about 1100 hours of study to reach fluency in Russian. If you're willing to study 3 hours every day, it could take you a year to reach that level. 5-french: According to the FSI, it would take an English speaker approximately 23-24 weeks or 575-600 hours of study to become proficient in the French language. 6-Germany: The FSI estimates that German takes approximately 30 weeks, or 750 classroom hours to learn. This study was conducted on a group of language students who spent 25 hours per week in class, and three hours daily on individual practice. 7-Spanish: Spanish is on Category I (languages more similar to English) and it takes around 24 weeks or 600 class hours to become proficient in it. If I want to learn all these languages : 386 weeks 96 months And 8 years. Wish me good luck.😀😉😋😜 What languages do you want to learn? How many years does it take to reach your goals?✌️
